What a wonderful birthday our little cowboy had! It was great! I think it rivaled my favorite party - Gracie's Rock Star party in Kindergarten. The funny thing is that a week ago I was worried if we'd even have a party. My wonderful friend Kim Pilcher brought her horses to the house for the party and made the party! Grant is such a cowboy. He is all about everything cowboy. I was nervous about putting out all his guns. So I didn't. On Friday we went to Burger King with Grant Baxter. They took guns - I thought nothing of it. I forget that it is a bit controversial. So I kept the guns inside. But I let him take out his super cool new over under shotgun and that was it. Many of the boys brought their own guns and Chad had a few ask him where the guns where. They heard there were more in Grant's room and came in to get them. They had a great time!
He really loved his day. I told him at prayers tonight that his birthday was over until next year. He seemed so sad. We drug it out for a week - that will have to be enough!
