Here we are

Well, here we are staring straight in the face of Cancer or Histiocytosis, both have big ugly faces. We'd prefer the Histiocystosis though. We won't know until at least Friday. I think this week is moving in slow motion. I am so thankful for God's abundant peace. I just can't believe we are not hysterical, but we aren't. Don't get me wrong, we've had our moments for sure, but for the most part especially today - PEACE. I am a little anxious because I don't feel that God is telling me that he is going to be healed, but I hear him say to my heart that we can handle it and that he is not ours. I don't want to handle it! I want it to go away. But nonetheless, I am thankful that I am feeling his presence and KNOW that he loves us and is there with us. I am also thankful that Grant has no fear...yet. And I pray he won't. Gracie asked tonight what the dr. said. I told her the 2 options. She said, "so like a really sick scary cancer like Mrs. Lori's?" I told her yes. So I know she is scared, but she is really doing well.

So the reason I created this blog was to document our kids and the craziness of our lives. This was not what I had in mind, but here we are.

But on those lines, listen to the funniness that is Grant. Today on the way home he wanted to take someone's blood and put it in a cup. We told him that only the nurses could do that. He proceeded to tell us all about how he could do it and that he would make a person. We told him only God could do that. He said, "I know, I will put the blood in the cup and send it on the truck that goes to heaven and God will make the person." We asked where the road was...Oklahoma, in fact, next to his friend Sofia's house that just moved to Oklahoma. Duh, doesn't everyone know that's how it works?!?
