Yucky week

I am at Scottish Rite for the second day this week. If nothing else, this week has affirmed me in the decision to leave the preschool. We started the week with a super full day on Sunday. I was at the church for 13 hours!

Then Monday Grant and I both felt bad. He came with me to preschool to get them started and we were back in bed by 11. Gracie's birthday party was at 4. We picked up several of her friends and went to the park before the party. She had a good time at her party and filled her belly with junk! That night she had a tummy ache - which we blamed on her diet of sugar for the day. After I got home from church council Monday night late I gave her some Pepto. At 1 am, she threw up in her bed. At 4 she threw up on the bathroom floor. At 11 am she threw up in the trashcan in my preschool office.

Wednesday we came to Atlanta for tests. They screwed that up. So instead of being able to work this morning, go to Gracie's awards ceremony and Chad being able to come too, we had to come earlier and have his skeletal survey done today instead of yesterday. Yes, this is a test that we knew he'd need 6 weeks ago. But scheduling it them would have made too much sense!

So here we are in the cafeteria eating lunch waiting on the Drs office to open back up. We hope to have the results and treatment this afternoon.

So out of 4 days this week I have been to work with sick kids twice and two days not at all. Yep, time to let that go! They interviewed my replacement today.
