We are outta here!

They determined Grant had RSV. He's been fever free since 11 pm. So even though he said 48 hours they sent us home. We were surprised and and skeptical. We already paid for the hotel and Gracie hasn't been able to swim as promised. So we are staying tonight. To swim and just
in case we have to go back. He is all jacked up so we are at the mall to walk a little and eat. He
can't swim so we are trying to wear him out before Gracie goes swimming. His fever was 99.9 when we left. They gave him a good dose of Rocefin before we left that lasts for 24 hours. So probably if it comes back it will be right as we settle in at home tomorrow. We go back if it is 101.
They both are bringing home about 6 toys. There were people that setup toys and came and got them and said "take as many as you can carry!" of course we didn't allow them to do that. They got 3 things each. Then someone else brought big Valentine bags full for them. He'll be happy to go back and Gracie will be thrilled. I think most of it was holiday stuff. Bummer to be there on a regular day! Gracie and I went walking the halls and realized how unfair it is. The other rooms are half the size and no toy deiveries there. Made me want to start something for the non cancer patients.

As I type at the restaurant he is fading. He is laying down and sounds tired. The plan is working!!
