Fun in the Snow

So it hasn't snowed around here in 7 years. Everyone was very excited to wake up to the snow this morning. This is my kind of snow experience. We were able to do what needed to be done today, have all the necessary snow-day fun, have a nap, a good lunch, have school be cancelled and all of it will be gone by noon tomorrow. All of the things you need for fun with snow accomplished in one day!

Build a snowman - check

"Sled" down a hill (in our case, ride on a piece of foam insulation board!) - check

Make snow angels - check

Laugh at the puppy playing in the snow while having a snowball fight- check

Make snow ice cream and freeze snowballs to throw in the summer - check

It was a fun day. But now bring on the 70 degrees and sunshine. Which looks like that will be Thursday.
