It's funny now

So a few months ago Grant had school pictures. It was when his hair was really thin. He wanted to "spike it up" so we did. Then he was hopped up on the 'roids. When we got the proof, I laughed, to avoid crying. I didn't order the pictures because it didn't look like Grant. But it is really funny now as I clean off my desk. He looks like he is saying, "hey baby!"
His teacher sent home a ton of pictures she took throughout the year. It was amazing to see the change in him over this year. He started the year with the giant clothes and the shell. Then he got the fat face. Then add no hair. Now he's back to normal. Amazing. I wouldn't have recognized him in some of those pictures. Yesterday I accidentally put him in some of the husky jeans from the shell era. He was sportin' the sag! It was hilarious! Mrs. Thomas also sent home his report card. He did great, but I was shocked to see he's missed 33 days of school this year. Hopefully next year will be better where that is concerned. I was really feeling sorry for him until I realized at least 8 of those days were trips to Disneyworld. So I guess I'd better tighten that up since he'll be a real elementary student next year.
