Looks promising, right? yeah, about 10 minutes later she was a mess! A hot nasty mess! She was shaking, screaming, crying, absolutely nutty. If I'd have had a Valium or some drug, I think I'd have given it to her. She was worried about the "rapids." There were none, we were leisurely floating along. She wanted me to call a helicopter and get us out of there! This went on for about 20 minutes with us talking to her, our friends, her friends, everyone trying to calm her down. Finally we pulled over. I was thinking to hold her under the water for a few minutes until she calmed down,
but we decided to let her swim for a minute. Then after that she was fine. That is the fearful child. Then there's Grant...
He was shooting everyone with his watergun screaming, "ah haaaaaaah ha haaaaahhhh!" all evil-like. He made friends with the passing rednecks and of course, shot at them. He sang Proud Mary in its entirety at the top of his lungs a few times. Then he had to paddle for much of the trip. Which he was allowed to do. I was not. After 5 minutes Chad told me to put my paddle away. So I did. I didn't paddle again for the rest of the day. Who says he's not chivalrous?
They are certainly two different children. But we survived our trip and had fun. This is the after shot.
