We are so excited to announce that the webpage for the Shenandoah Hike for a Cure is open. We have been looking forward to this event and can't wait to support it with our time and our dollars. The hike is April 30-May 2 at Shenandoah National Park and we will be there! Join us! If you can't join us on the hike, you can support Histiocytosis research and awareness by sponsoring Team Grant. Our goal is $2500, any amount would help us reach our goal and the organization's higher goal of curing Histiocytosis. After we met with Dr. McClain this fall we learned just how important this money is. There is no government money for research. It is Dr. McClain and his staff of ONE because that is all there is money for. Thankfully, Grant is one of the healthiest histio kids out there. This is a horrible disease, that is ruining the lives of 1000s of kids (and a few adults) each year.
Chad and I are working the Hike this year in "non-hike activities" and would love for you to come and play with us! It is going to be a great time and a wonderful chance to meet lots of other histio warriors. Please register or give today:
