YIPEE! Never been so happy for a blood disorder!

We just got off the phone with Dr. Rapkin where he can positively confirm that the cells are Histiocytosis and not Cancer! There will be more tests to run on the tissue to get more info, but we know that it is definately Histio.
We go next week for a full body bone scan and a cranial CT to see where else is. That will help determine the course of action. Some doctors are more aggressive with this than Rapkin, but he feels that we start with something simple (less side effects and long term issues) and if it doesn't work, use something stronger. But that is if it is only in the two places, if it is more, we'll be more aggressive.
I know you have lots of questions...what will they do about is deteriorated back being the biggy...we don't know. And right now, we don't care! We are so glad it isn't cancer, we'll worry about that another day.
Just so you all know. The cancer that he thought it was is Ewings Sarcoma. It has a 50% survival rate and one of the most aggressive treatment plans for any cancer (meaning the treatment is worse than the disease). PRAISE GOD! We thought Histiocytosis was bad last weekend until we knew of the Ewings, We are loving Histio!!
Thank you all so much for your prayers. You have no idea how we have been supported by God this week and Grant has and we know it is your prayers and our MIGHTY GOD that has done that.
More to come on the Histio and the treatment, but I know you are all anxious. Join us in mighty praise for a mighty God who has MIGHTY plans for our baby!

Gods grace is so wonderful. When we are at the bottom it has been such a comfort to know that Gods love is there..........bigger and more than we could ever imagine.
"Ah, Lord God! Behold You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. Jeremiah 32:17
We praise God. We love our cowboy and his sister and mom and dad more than.....well more than even we knew....What a comfort to know that our loving God is in control.
'Call to Me, and
"I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know" Jeremiah 33:3

Nana and Po say hello, and they are praying.
LOVE YOU ALL, mom & dad
