Woohoo!

We went to pick up Grant's liquid chemo today (explaing liquid vs. solid to a 4 year old is fun!). I also got a flu shot while we were at the pharmacy. Grant was very helpful in making me be brave for my shot, he held my hand. Honestly, it didn't even hurt. I am over all the sympathy I had for them last week. So I bought him an orange soda at the the pharmacy. FYI- the kids were out of school today and while Grant and I were at the pharmacy Gracie was teaching preschool! She took over Joanna and Kim's preschool class this morning and had no interest in going with us. So he had the soda and I had a shot on the way out with our liquid chemo. I convinced him that because he had the orange soda we should go ahead and do the medicine to chase it with the yummy Fanta orange. We got in the car and I loaded up the juice. He was worried that he'd still throw up - which concerned me because all the throw up has been in his mind and if he was going there that wasn't good - especially in my car (because you KNOW it is so clean!). Well, he smelled it and then away we went. He LOVED IT! He wanted more and said, "I don't even need a drink, that was good, can I have more?" YIPEE!!! I was thrilled! It was well worth the 5x the cost to have it in liquid.
That and we leave for Disneyworld in less than 5 days! LIFE IS GOOD!
